Gemma Stooke

Gemma is part of the investment team at Five V, joining the team in 2023 and has over 10 years experience across private equity, management consulting and law.  

Gemma joined Five V from the investment team in the Sydney office of Bain Capital Private Equity. Prior to Bain Capital, Gemma was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co where she advised companies on strategy and operational improvement with a focus on retail and consumer goods, technology and financial services. Gemma commenced her career as a lawyer and spent time working in corporate law at King & Wood Mallesons and Clifford Chance.  

She has an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Economic and Social Sciences and Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from Sydney University.
